Albuquerque, NM

In order to be more productive in their operations, Mega Corp requested the enclosure of an existing exterior overhead crane and craneway.  Located on an already crowded site, the new structure required careful planning for the construction of the foundations, erection of the frames, and installation of the roof and wall panels.  A creative solution on one end wall allows the passage of the overhead crane and it’s load through a T-shaped opening that can be opened and closed quickly, limiting the exposure of the interior to the elements.  The enclosure was 221’-0” long by 68’-0” wide with a 24’-0” eave height and included four 16’-0” x 16’-0” overhead doors.
